April Highlights

Larry Berdoll installed at 29th President and received the 19th Jack Gibb Award.

At our annual Peas, Pies, and Tatties dinner - cooked by Gail Burkett and Bob David - we inducted Larry into both the Honor Roll of Jack Gibb winners and as President of the SASPBC. He has been a stalwart in the SASPBC for many years and we are honored by his being a part of us. A special thanks to Lynn who is always by his side and equally involved.

His Cabinet will consist of Eleanor Harris as Vice President, Gloria McCulloch as Treasurer, Winnie Graham as Membership Chairwoman, and Betty Verdone as Secretary. Thanks to them and all that contribute to make the SASPBC a proud organization.

WELCOME

The Scottish American Society of Palm Beach County was formed by Scottish immigrants and Americans of Scottish descent in February 1984. They came together to promote the study of Scotland's language, history, literature and music, and to support any movements favorable to the continuance of Scottish customs, sports, dancing, dress and the like. You are cordially invited to attend meetings and join with us in a celebration of all things Scottish.

The meetings are held at The Church of the Holy Guardian Angels:, 1325 Cardinal Ln, Lantana, FL., 33462. . SASPBC meets on the third Friday evening at 6:30 PM of each month. Normally we begin with a light dinner and refreshments. The actual meeting being from 6 - 8+ PM. Always check the web site for any updates. If you have an interest in Scottish traditions, history and culture, a cup of tea and a hearty welcome awaits you.
